Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
We want LoverPDF to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've built in
- Every tool can be used with a keyboard alone, including moving pages: select a page with Space and move it with Alt + arrow keys or the move buttons, as an alternative to drag and drop.
- Visible focus indicators, labelled icon buttons and form fields, and status announcements for screen readers when files are read, processed or ready.
- Text and controls meet AA colour contrast. Layouts reflow down to 320 px wide and respect your browser's text size.
- Animations are reduced when your system asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Page previews are images drawn from the PDF. Screen readers announce each page's number but not its text.
- Exported PDFs keep accessibility tags only when pages are edited in place; merging or splitting creates new files without the original tag structure. We warn before exporting when this applies.
