How detection works
Every page is drawn at low resolution and the share of non-white pixels is measured. Pages below the threshold you choose count as blank.
Nothing irreversible
Your original file is never changed. If no page qualifies, the document is left as it is, and a document is never reduced to nothing.
Frequently asked questions
Will pages with just a page number be removed?
With the standard setting, a page holding only a tiny mark such as a page number may count as blank. Choose “only truly empty pages” to keep them.
Does it work on scans?
Yes. The scan setting tolerates the specks and shadows that scanners leave on empty sheets.
Is my file uploaded?
No. It's processed in your browser and never leaves your device.
