About this tool
Keep control of the order
Files are merged top to bottom. Move a whole document up or down, or switch to page view to place individual pages exactly where they belong.
What is kept
Page content, page sizes and rotation are copied exactly. Bookmarks and interactive form fields from the source files are not carried into the merged file; you'll see a notice before exporting if your files contain them.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server when I merge them?
No. Merging runs in your browser, and your files are never uploaded.
Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
There's no fixed number of files. Each file can be up to 500 MB and the merged document up to 5,000 pages; your device's memory is the practical limit.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Unlock the file first with its password using Unlock PDF, then merge it.
Will merging change the quality of my pages?
No. Pages are copied as they are — text stays selectable and images are not recompressed.
