About this tool
What cropping does
Cropping changes the page's visible area (its crop box). Text stays selectable and links keep working, and pages turned sideways are cropped as you see them.
Hidden, not deleted
Content outside the crop area is hidden, not removed from the file. To remove sensitive content permanently, use Redact PDF instead.
Frequently asked questions
Can I crop only some pages?
Yes. Choose all pages, the pages you selected, or a list like 1-3, 7.
Is cropped content really gone?
No, it's only hidden from view. Use Redact PDF to remove it from the file.
