About this tool
Editable, not just copied
The converter rebuilds the page as Word content: paragraphs with their fonts, sizes and bold or italic text, tables with their cells, and images in place. Accented text such as Vietnamese is kept as text.
What may need touching up
Simple documents such as letters, contracts and reports convert closely. Complex layouts — several columns, text over images, forms and unusual fonts — come back editable but may need some adjustment.

Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?
A scan is a picture of text, so it would come back as images. Run OCR PDF first to add a text layer, then convert. We tell you when a file has no text to convert.

What is the size limit?
Files up to 100 MB. Very long documents may take longer; a job stops after a few minutes.
