Terms of Service
Last updated:
By using LoverPDF you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
LoverPDF provides tools to edit, convert and optimise documents. The tools are provided free of charge, as they are, and may change over time. We work to keep them reliable, but we can't guarantee that every document will process correctly or that the service will always be available.
Your documents
You keep all rights to your documents. You are responsible for having the right to process the files you use, including any password you enter. Don't use the service to process content that is illegal or that you are not permitted to handle.
Always keep your own copy of important documents. Output files can differ from the original — for example compression lowers image quality and any change invalidates digital signatures.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Don't use automated means to send large volumes of server jobs. Fair-use limits apply and may change.
- Don't use the service to bypass security of documents you aren't authorised to open. Unlock PDF only removes passwords you provide.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, LoverPDF is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
