Actually removed

Deleted pages, and the bookmarks, links and accessibility tags that led to them, are not written to the exported PDF. Removed content isn't hiding in the file, and the file size goes down.

Can I undo a deletion?

Yes, until you leave the workspace. Use Undo or Ctrl/Cmd + Z.

Can I delete every page?

No. A PDF needs at least one page.

Is the deleted content really gone?

Yes. The removed pages and everything only they used, including bookmarks, links and accessibility tags that pointed to them, are left out of the exported file. Document-wide data such as metadata and attachments is kept.
